Riobel is located 40 km west of Quebec City, Canada. It all began in 1992, while visiting a local dog show. Although we already owned a Boxer and Collie, we were looking for a smaller breed. When we saw the Miniature Schnauzer, it was love at first sight. A few years ago, we decided to begin breeding. We obtained our first show and breeding female from Cathy McMillan of Saskatchewan, who has become a very precious friend and mentor.

Riobel is dedicated to the pursuit of only one goal - improvement of the breed. We are MSCC Code of Ethics breeders, and produce one or two litters a year. All of our Miniature Schnauzers are owner handled, trained and groomed to their titles and live in a home environment.
